Help Brandon Boyd’s children after LBPD killed this father of six, a week before Thanksgiving
A Letter from Tiffany Boyd, sister of Brandon Boyd
My heart is broken as I write this. On November 19, 2024, my beloved brother, Brandon Boyd, was tragically taken from us in a senseless police shooting. He was in front of the church where we grew up, a place he attended as a child, struggling with his mental health. He was a father of three biological children, a stepson that he was inseparable from, and two stepdaughters. Our family is overwhelmed with grief, trying to make sense of this sudden and heartbreaking loss.
Brandon had faced many challenges in life, but he was determined to turn things around for the sake of his kids. He was a loving father who worked tirelessly to give his children a better future. On the day he died, after dropping his children off at school - he found himself in the middle of a mental health crisis and called the police for help, but tragically, he didn’t survive.
To make matters worse, my two older sisters and my 19-year-old niece, who was present at the scene, were traumatized, brutalized, and wrongfully arrested after watching Brandon get gunned down on the steps of the church. Now, on top of our grief, we are also facing legal battles as we seek justice for Brandon and our family.
Brandon was known in our community as a man who loved his family deeply and was a devoted friend to many. He didn’t deserve to die this way. His children, who adored him, now face life without their dad, and our family is grappling with an unimaginable pain that words can’t fully capture.
We are humbly asking for your help to cover funeral expenses and support his children. They deserve a future filled with the love and security that Brandon was working so hard to provide. Your donations will go directly toward helping his kids navigate life without their father and supporting our legal efforts to seek justice for Brandon.
If you are able, please donate to help us through this devastating time. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will make a difference. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page will help us spread the word and raise awareness. We appreciate your love, prayers, and support as we fight for justice for Brandon.
Thank you for standing with us.
